As reported by Casino Guardian earlier this month, 888poker is to launch the 888Live Festival at the Aspers Casino in London from October 13th to October 23rd. The brand has planned to launch the Festival in order to complement the 888Live Events series on one hand and to provide poker players with exclusive live poker experience.
The 888Live Festival is to last for eleven days and includes seventeen tournaments plus a number of satellites which provide players with the chance to make their choice among various events featuring different buy-ins. The latter range from $165 to $2,650.
The series is to kick off with the Day 1A of its Opening Event that features a guaranteed price of £100,000. The Day 1B of the 888Live London Festival is scheduled for Friday, October 14th, and the Day 1C is to be held on Saturday, October 15th. All three Day 1s of the Opening Event feature buy-ins of $300. There is one more event that is scheduled for October 15th – the $165 Buy-in Lightening 6max 36 cap.
The Final Day of the 888Live London Festival’s Opening Event is to take place on October 16th. On that day there will be two other events – a $165 Buy-in Lightening 6-Max 36-player cap event that is to start at 5:00 PM, as well as a $165 Buy-in Turbo Mega Deep event. No events are scheduled for Monday, October 17th.
The 888Live London Festival is to continue with two other events on October 18th. Players will be given the chance to join a $165 Buy-in Lightening 6-Max 36-player cap event, as well as another Turbo Mega Deep event, which could be joined in return to a buy-in of $165. High rollers will be able to join the Day 1 of the Festival’s High Roller event featuring a buy-in of $2,650. The Second Day of the High Roller event is scheduled for October 20th.
Of course, the regular Lightening 6-Max 36-player cap event is available on October 19th and 20th. In addition, on Thursday there will be and a $335 Buy-in Turbo Mega Deep Omaha event. What is more important is the fact that the 888Live London Festival Main Event Day 1A is scheduled for October 20th. The event features a buy-in estimated to $1,180 and a guaranteed prize pool of $265,000. Day 1B of the Live Festival’s Main Event is scheduled for October 21st. On the same day, players will be able to join a $165 Buy-in Lightening 6-Max 36-player cap, as well as a $540 Buy-in Mega Knockout Live event.
Saturday, October 22nd, will start with Day 2 of the Festival’s Main Event and will proceed with the $300 Buy-in Two Day 25K event. The 888Live London Festival Main Event Final Day is scheduled for the last day of the series – October 23rd. Players will be also provided with the opportunity to join the Day 2 of the Two Day 25K event, as well as two other regular events.
